Hello! I'm a 24 year old from England. I grew up in a town called Malvern, where weekends were spent walking on the hills, and our holidays cycling in the Wyre Forest.

I studied French and Spanish at university, which included time living in Aix-en-Provence and Granada. Unfortunately, due to Covid, my time in Spain was cut short. As a result, after finishing uni, I decided to spend some time working to save up money and come travelling!

I don't want travelling just to mean staying in hostels in cities, though, which is why I've signed up here. I've always felt more at home in the great outdoors, and I want to get to know places and people more than you can in just a few days. I want to get the most out of this formative period of my life.

I'm quite laid back (maybe too much for my own good sometimes), but I enjoy working hard to help others, while perhaps having a little giggle along the way. I have volunteered before on an organic farm with WWOOF, and have worked at a small independent business in England. The owner of this business, among others, has said I'm a 'calming influence' with a can-do attitude. I'm a quick learner and I'm eager to be pushed out of my comfort zone!

I've studied French and Spanish. My French is a pretty good level, but I'd still like to improve, especially as it's been some years now since I've had to chance to use it. My Spanish isn't as good as my French, so I'd like the opportunity to practice it too. My native language is English, so I'd be happy to help anyone who's hoping to improve and practice it.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I'm a native English speaker. I also speak good French and some Spanish. I'm organised and analytical. I've experience of hard manual labour from time in a factory, and experience looking after animals and DIY work from when I volunteered on an organic farm.

My first love as a child was football, but my main passion now is music. I played the trumpet when I was younger, but sadly I've not played a note in several years now. I get endless enjoyment from finding new music, and have dabbled in making my own. I used to play the trumpet, but unfortunately it's been some years since I've blown a note now.

Aside from music, I'm an avid reader and enjoy going for long walks, a pastime undoubtedly fostered by growing up on the Malvern Hills.
I'm into films, but generally I avoid watching tv/series at any cost!

  I'm a vegetarian, so I don't eat meat. However, I will eat it if it's in a communal environment. I don't want it to be an issue for any potential hosts!
