Greetings from California!

My name is Madison and I am based in San Francisco, California. I’m looking for opportunities in Peru before I attend a wedding in April. I speak beginning French, Italian and Spanish but I’m looking to immerse myself in a Spanish-speaking environment so I can keep learning.

I am passionate about community, arts and crafts, and language learning. I hope I can be useful in any endeavors related to these goals.

I lived in Switzerland and learned conversational Italian, but that was 10 years ago. I also living in Costa Rica 12 years ago and learned conversational Spanish. I’ve taken French classes from age 12-22 but it has been a while.

I was a nanny two summers ago in California. I worked from 8am-6pm every day looking after a 6 month old baby boy and a 5 year old girl. I I am comfortable with kids, but I am looking for more experiences!

Last summer I worked at a leasing agency in California to sell apartments to prospect tenants. I was essentially the real estate agent for 5 apartment buildings.

I have taught English in Poland for one month and worked at a hostel in Greece for 5 weeks through workaway. In addition, I have held some jobs in Costa Rica (all in Spanish) working at restaurants and assisting a lawyer.

I was also the manager of the student lounge of my school my freshman year of college. This job taught me skills to organize, plan, and manage a center where many student come to study and hang out!

Working here was the best experience I could've asked for in a work away experience. The work was reasonable and flexible and the people (Costas and Vangelis) were so easy to work with!
