Greetings!

I'm Nicole, a seasoned Workaway user since 2017. I've successfully stayed with 10 different hosts through the platform and have established long-lasting relationships with many of them. Despite having only one review, I can assure you that my experiences have been nothing but exceptional an I'm excited to make new connections and have more adventures in my future travels :D

I just can't imagine going anywhere without my dear companion, Bruno! He's my playful, house-trained, and oh-so-adorable Corgi/Pomeranian mix. That's why I'm on the lookout for volunteer opportunities where I can bring my furry best friend along for the ride.

I feel incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to do so many different things in my life. I'm a bit of a jack-of-all-trades, and I'm always eager to learn new skills. I'm a super positive and happy person, and I love nothing more than sharing that energy with those around me.

I'm a master at cleaning and I've worked in the hospitality industry, so I've got plenty of experience with guest interaction, story-telling and making recommendations, running reception, bartending, and I've got a green thumb when it comes to gardening. I'm a whiz with baking. Plus I can easily prepare breakfast and have a lot of experience with doing this in many of the hostels I've volunteered at. Plus I can cook up a variety of dishes (mostly vegetarian) for families or places with smaller numbers of guests (my experience is usually with about 25 people max).

Office work is no problem for me either - I'm highly organized, excel at social media, and generally keep track of things. I'm also great with kids, with experience in teaching, caretaking, and development. When it comes to basic construction, I may not be an expert, but I'm comfortable with painting and small building projects.

All in all, I'm a friendly and approachable person who's always ready to lend a hand and share a smile.

In my free time, I love to do things that make me happy and keep me healthy. Walking, hiking, and going to the beach are some of my favorite ways to enjoy the outdoors. Crocheting and other crafts are a fun and creative way for me to relax and express myself. Currently, I am making baby blankets for my friend who is expecting late this spring! And of course, I try to stay healthy by exercising daily and eating nutritious foods.

Currently, I'm developing an ASMR travel content social media channel(s) that focus on travel volunteering and the tasks associated with it, as well as local cooking, dining, hiking, exploring markets, and other adventures. I would be delighted to bring my creative expertise to your hostel, home, or organization and help promote your material with your consent!

I've been lucky to have some amazing experiences and meet wonderful people thanks to Workaway, studying in Mexico and France, plus doing a bunch of Couchsurfing. Check out more on my profile to see all of the wonderful countries I've been to!! I'm a native English speaker, fluent in Spanish, and am at a beginner/intermediate level French. I'm excited to continue learning and I plan to add Italian to my list of languages soon!

I absolutely love getting to know new people and hearing their stories! That's why I tend to prefer longer-term Workaway projects - think 4 weeks or more. So if you're looking for someone to join your team or family, count me in! Let's make some amazing memories together :)
