I am Nahoko from Japan. I am currently traveling and exploring the countries I've wanted to visit in a gap year. (I just graduated from college.)
I love learning about local cultures, languages, food, and ways of living! Also, I have been interested in learning about wellness and health these days.
In my free time, I like going for a walk, reading, embroidering, playing guitar (a bit!), skiing, etc.

Thank you for checking my profile!
Since I wrote down some of my info, you know me already!
But maybe more about my personality and background to add on…
My personality:
I would say I’m generous, kind, tidy, love to talk and laugh!
Negative side of me would be worrisome, stubborn?… sometimes!
My background :
I was born and raised in Kumamoto, Japan where has a beautiful volcanic mountain called Aso mountain and ocean full of seaweed, clams, and dolphins (though I grew up in city area!) until highschool. Then I went to college in the US and lived there for four years studying environmental studies. I graduated from college and now traveling as a gap year exploring the world and myself. I’ve traveled in Japan from rural to urban, Indonesia, Philippine, Taiwan, Vietnam, the US, the UK and Germany. And I’ve enjoyed staying every single country leaning new culture!
I’m excited to visit new places to experience new things, but also I’m excited to talk with you, the host, about the life you’re having because it is the philosophical teaching for me!

If you are curious about organic and ecological farming and Basque Country, this is the place for sure.
I helped Eneko with various tasks, planting vegetables and trees, seeding, weeding, harvesting, feeding hens, peeling kiwi🥝 (for jam), taking corn kernel from cob for hens’ food… etc.

It was such a wonderful stay for my first Workaway experience. The family is getting used to hosting guests, so it was easy to settle down. Also, it was clear what help the host needed, so there was nothing to be confused about.
They are a loving family full of laughter!!! Not only did they teach me… read more

She was always ready to help, she focused on every duties.. she is a professional cleaner, she loves Teddy and he was crazy for her...
We laughed a lot together, we share recepies, free time, she was curious about our daily life..
