Hello! I’m Kate, a 24-year-old from Canada with a deep love for the outdoors, movement, and nature. I’m about to head off to environmental law school in September, and before diving into that academic journey, I’m looking for an opportunity to work on a farm in Europe, reconnecting with the land, animals, and learning from hardworking farmers.

I’ve always had a special connection with large animals, especially horses and cows. I grew up horseback riding as a little girl, and I’m excited to get back into working with them, whether it’s caring for, feeding, or just spending time with these magnificent creatures.

In my free time, you’ll often find me running, camping, or exploring new areas in nature. I’ve run two marathons and even placed second in a recent triathlon in my local area, so I’m no stranger to pushing myself physically. I love the sense of accomplishment that comes with hard work and dedication, and I’m more than happy to tackle any physically demanding tasks on the farm.

I pride myself on being independent when needed but I also thrive in a team environment. I’m happy to take direction, work alongside others, and contribute to a positive, collaborative atmosphere. I’m also a big fan of cooking—trying new recipes and learning new cuisines is something I truly enjoy, and I’m always happy to help out in the kitchen!

When I’m not working or exploring the outdoors, I enjoy reading, watching movies, and relaxing after a good day’s work. I love to learn about new cultures and am excited to explore the local lifestyle during my time in Europe.

Overall, I’m looking for a meaningful experience where I can connect with animals, nature, and people while contributing to farm life. I’m ready to roll up my sleeves, learn new skills, and immerse myself in a rural way of life before heading back to school. Let’s connect and see how I can be of help on your farm!
