Hi there! My name is Kenney, and I am looking to travel the world to meet awesome people and learn about new places. I love making connections and trying new things.

Here is a bit about myself:

I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT alongside my three siblings who I love very much. I was very involved in team sports growing up and played ice hockey, soccer, baseball, and basketball until I was about 14. I continued to play hockey competitively until I was 18. Because of my extensive experience playing sports, I work very well with a team and know what a team needs to succeed.

I went to school in the heart of Salt Lake City growing up, so I am comfortable in a city setting and I have common sense. The diversity in the city has taught me to be open to people's experiences and learn from them. I am always interested in learning something new, and I generally learn the most from other people.

After graduating high school, I attended college at the University of Utah where I graduated with a degree in finance. It was during my time in college that I decided to study abroad in Santiago de Chile. I loved Chile and I learned so much in my time there that I decided traveling is the best way for me to learn about the world. Hence, I am doing Workaway so that I can travel and meet locals that can teach me about themselves and their cultures.

Here is a bit about what I bring to the table:

I have worked in customer service since I was 15 years old, mostly working in restaurants, secretarial roles, and group activities. These experiences have shaped me so that I am great with people and can make anyone smile when I walk into a room. I am upbeat and like to maintain a fun and productive environment around me. If you run a small business and are looking for someone that can handle guests, I am your guy.

I also have experience working with finance firms and small businesses. These experiences have taught me how to make a business profitable and how to make an operation run smoothly. I am good at figuring things out if you give me a problem and you need a solution. If you need general help running a business I am a valuable resource to help you out.

I am respectful of others and am kind to those around me. I treat people how I want to be treated and I am considerate of others' time. I am also funny and I know how to make life better. If you allow me to stay with you, I promise to make a positive impact and leave things better than I found them.

What I am looking for:

I'm looking for hosts that are considerate, ambitious, curious, adventurous, and fun. I know I can bring a lot to the table, so I am looking for a mutually beneficial host situation where you can help me with food and accommodations while I help you with anything you need. I hope we can figure out an arrangement that works for both of us. Thank you!
