Hi everyone!
My name’s Kanav, I’m 20 years old, and I just finished my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. I’m taking a gap semester before starting work in January 2026, and my goal is to travel the world, meet people from all walks of life, and contribute wherever I can along the way.
Skills & Interests
- Enjoy working outdoors.
- Taken on woodworking/DIY projects. Can get involved in construction or other such tasks.
- I can help with creating websites or social media.
- Love being around kids and coming up with creative ways to keep them engaged.
- Play the ukulele and a percussion instrument called the tabla. Would love to jam out some tunes if you are musically inclined!
I’m here to make today’s adventures tomorrow’s good ol’ days. I'm always looking for the next new thing — a DIY project, a hidden coffee shop, or a country I’ve never seen. What excites me most about Workaway is going beyond the touristy parts of a place: learning its rhythm, sharing in daily life, and connecting with the people who make it feel like home.

I enjoy all things fitness including running, playing pickup sports, and lifting heavy weights. I also listen to a variety of music like country, indie, folk, bollywood, and some hip-hop as well! Lastly, I could play strategy board games or simple card games for hours on end. I even know a few niche card games that I could teach you!
