I am an adventurous mountain goat and mum of 2 girls:

Katarina: 35, I work as a freelance designer in sports&outdoor industry, and at the same time I pursue my dream of being and artist and illustrator (www.instagram.com/wildmedesigns).

I love being outside, in the nature, especially mountains, I hike, I bike, I run, I climb, I ski and skitour, I do yoga and breathe. But I am not on a move all the time. I also like to sit and read a book, dig in the garden or drink good coffee and have a chat with friends.

I have visited many countries, travelled, studied or worked there and my home is everywhere where I feel good. I want to share my passions with with kids and show them the world as I see it.

Nela (8) is attending a community educational group of homeschoolers in a place where we live. She is a lively and amicable child, independent, curious, with love to animals and playing with other kids.

Adela (5) is a calm good-hearted child, an observer, at the beginning always little shy, but when she gets used to the place or person, she shows her opened nature and loves to explore everything around :)

Quais são suas habilidades?

As a designer my strong skills are in artistic and creative areas, as drawing/llustration, graphics, DIY creativity stuff. At the moment I am mostly into drawing, so if you need help with logo, any kind of visual design, mural, painting the wall, etc., I can help you.

I am starting to learn also some videography skills, still long way ahead of me, but maybe in a time of workaway I will be more skilled :)

I also have some experience in creating a blog and putting articles online. I like improving my language skills and communicating and getting to know new people. I learn quickly and am eager to get to know new things. I am interested in gardening and permaculture, though I am just a beginner, I felt in love with it.

As a passionate outdoor sports person I am good in all things connected to being outdoors, mountains, hiking, if you have a project connected to nature, sports or so, I am here to support you!

Sometimes I ask myslef, why do I want to spend our holiday time with workaway? I love travelling, but I don`t want to be just a tourist. I want to get to know the new places and people deeper, become a part of the community. I also want to show my kids different aspects of life, cultures. To experience communications in language different than our native. To gain new skills, to learn new things. To create new friendships.
