Hello! I’m Jan, a traveler currently exploring the diverse cultures of Asia. After spending a significant amount of time experiencing so much hospitality from local people, I feel it’s time to give back and make a positive impact through volunteering.
I am particularly interested in opportunities where I can teach English to children or assist on a farm with some manual work. Anyway, I am open to any other forms of volunteering. I consider myself open minded and I stand by the saying that one can never know what life brings next to the table. ☀️

I always wanted to have the experience teaching English (or possibly Czech, if anyone was interested in that). I would also be excited for having the opportunity to dust off my German and Spanish, continue learning more French or learn the basics of any other language.

Quais são suas habilidades?
Teaching: I am fluent in English (C1 level) and have a patient and friendly approach, making me well-suited for teaching English to children. I believe in creating a fun and engaging learning environment. Apart from English, I can also help teaching kids playing piano (or electronic keyboard). Overall I love working with children (I have a little niece and a nephew myself which I love to spend time with) and would like to gain more experience there.
Work around the house: I have experience with house renovations, having helped renovate two houses and a flat, and co-created a shop selling wine. One of my first jobs was as a gardener, and I grew up in a house in a village where garden work was my daily routine. I can handle various tasks around the house and garden.
IT skills: My background as a software developer has equipped me with problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly. I'll gladly help you with building a website or any other IT related task.
Craftmanship: I also have significant experience working with electronics. This includes soldering, operating a laser cutting machine, and crafting wooden front panels for synthesizers. These skills reflect my strong background in hands-on technical work.
Event management: I have worked as an import manager and organized music events for several years, giving me solid experience in planning and managing events and projects.
