Hello! I'm Jamil, a friendly, reliable, and open-minded person from Lebanon, married to my French wife. I have three children from my previous marriage: a 29-year-old daughter living in Portugal, a 20-year-old son studying in Spain, and a 17-year-old son finishing high school in Beirut.

I run a boutique branding, marketing, and communications consultancy (proaktt.com) and have lived and worked across the United States, the Gulf region, and Europe. I've also supported nonprofit organizations with branding, communications, and strategy. These experiences have taught me to adapt easily, appreciate different cultures, and build genuine connections with people from all backgrounds.

I enjoy mentoring and supporting others, whether through my professional experience, practical hands-on help, or simply by being a dependable, positive person to have around. I'm also a certified personal trainer, reflecting my passion for staying active, promoting well-being, and living sustainably.

My goal is to improve my spoken French through everyday life while immersing myself in French culture. In return, I hope to make life a little easier for my hosts by contributing wherever I'm needed and sharing my experience, enthusiasm, and positive outlook.

I understand French well, but I still find it difficult to express myself fluently and confidently in conversations. I would like to become more confident speaking through regular, everyday conversations. I am fluent in English and Arabic. If possible, I would appreciate being spoken to mainly in French, even if I make mistakes. I believe this is the best way for me to improve, and I'm always happy to learn. I'm also happy to help anyone who would like to practice or improve their English or Arabic through informal conversation.

I can bring structure, clarity, and practical support to physical daily tasks, routines, coordination, household organization, and overall smooth day-to-day functioning.

With a background in communication and extensive international experience, I enjoy adding value through a creative lens developed as a creative director, combined with my passion for photography, cooking, and music. This can include preparing thoughtful meals, enhancing the warmth of shared spaces, and contributing to engaging conversations.

I am also a certified personal trainer, which reflects my passion for health, fitness, and promoting an active and balanced lifestyle, and I am always happy to share or encourage that energy in daily life.
