Ciao a tutti!
I’m Helena, 24, and I just finished my Master’s in Economics and Data Analysis at the University of Verona. I’m planning to continue with a PhD in the future.

I love traveling, discovering new cultures, and living authentic experiences rather than just visiting tourist spots. I enjoy reading, dancing and being in nature, doing outdoor activities like trekking or paddleboarding, and I’m always curious to try new things.

I joined Workaway to challenge myself, meet new people, and fully immerse in different communities. I’m excited to learn, share, and create meaningful connections along the way. As I like to say "Life isn’t about the destination, it’s about the journey itself".

I'm available to teach both Italian and English. Additionally, I'm keen on improving my Spanish skills, as my mother is Argentinian; although I know some words, I struggle to engage in full conversations. Moreover, I'm open to learning other languages as well :)

Quais são suas habilidades?

I love challenging myself and learning new things. I have organizational and managerial skills, and I can contribute in areas like business, economics, and digital marketing. I’ve also done Workaway on a farm, so I’m comfortable with physical tasks, gardening, and general outdoor work.

I spent two months as an au pair, which taught me a lot about taking care of children. I really enjoy being with kids, playing, helping them learn, and supporting them in their daily routines.

I’m also creative, I love writing and painting, even if just for fun, and I enjoy expressing myself through art whenever I can.

Adaptability is one of my strengths. Traveling, staying in different communities, and working in teams have taught me to go with the flow, cooperate, and make sure everyone feels heard and respected.

I’m excited to share my skills, learn from others, and contribute positively to meaningful projects.
