Before leaving to travel, my previous job in New Zealand was a landscape gardener and community composter. I enjoy working outside in nature, and am motivated to learn more about sustainable ways of living across the world. I love connecting with new people, sharing stories, playing games, puzzles, reading, and cooking.

I am interested in learning new languages while I am travelling. I have very beginner level Dutch and Spanish and am keen to build on these as well as the languages spoken where I am staying.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have experience growing vegetables, through my own vegetable garden and volunteering at a community garden over 2 years in New Zealand.

In New Zealand I managed a community compost hub, processing the food scraps and making hot compost. I also volunteered at a community garden with their composting enterprise too.

I am a motivated worker with an eagerness to learn more about what I am doing. I show initiative, can follow instruction well, and work well by myself and alongside other people. I am used to working cold or hot weather, rain or shine.

I have done WWOOFing and Workaway in different countries. New Zealand, Portugal, Scotland, Turkey and am currently volunteering in Albania.

I have stayed at a variety of settings, an eco-village, olive oil grove, eco-tourism destination, regenerative fruit forest, and small-scale family gardens and farms.

I have worked on a range of projects, setting up new vegetable garden beds, removing invasive plants from native bush, collecting firewood, setting up compost systems, string-trimming, sowing seeds and transplanting seedlings, pruning trees. I enjoy preserving fruits and vegetables by making chutneys, jams, and pickles. I also enjoy baking sweets and would love to make something using your seasonal produce. I have experience feeding chickens, goats, pigs and sheep.
