Alo! My name is Fadiana, but many call me Ana. I have always loved traveling but have not gotten many opportunities to do so. A friend introduced me to workaway and here I am. So, my hope is to make a good impact and leave something positive behind. I hope to learn new skills and gain experiences. Hopefully I can look back one day and say that I lived much and became a cool person hahaha. I am nervous but excited to see where this takes me!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have volunteer experience in charities, churches, schools, and NGOs/NPOs. From those I have definitely obtained leadership, team coordination, and event planning skills.

I am good at cleaning, I've done a number of housekeeping and family assistant jobs, I am also just a tidy person myself.

I cook quite a bit. The stove is my second home. I would love to share a meal with you!

I worked as a behavioral therapist and nanny, I worked with small children to teenagers, all with different needs and backgrounds.

I know a little bit about gardening. My family has a small garden.

I am not so knowledgable about carpentry, or any building, but hammers and nails do not scare me. I love putting things together. I am quick learner and have more strength than I appear. Even with mechanical equipment I can be of use.

I feel very passionate about photography, I want to capture the world with my own eyes, to prove to myself it is real. I want to meet new people, try new foods, and see the world as it is, not as what I've been told. I know about photography but I am self-taught, so my vocabulary is not extensive, sorry. But I can shoot things for social media if needed. You tell me how you like it.

I used to play a variety of instruments, piano, guitar, ukulele, flute, saxophone.. etc. Now, not so much, but my love for music is still the same. It would be fun to make music together.

I love learning languages. I speak about 4, but my fluency is to be judged by you hahaha. Haitian Creole, English, Spanish, French, some ASL. I know a few words of Japanese. I would love to practice speaking with others!

I am interested in all sorts of things. My goal is to become a cool person hahaha. I like physical activities such as dancing, rollerskating, skateboarding, rock-climbing, cycling, trampoline, but I do not promise to be any good hahaha! I like board games and card games, I can teach you a few from my country if you'd like. I love videogames, I grew up playing them.

I like art and drawing, but I am a bit embarrassed of my skill level. Even so, I'd love to help with a painting project!

I like trivia and quizzes, documentaries, and history. And of course, science! I am a bit of a nerd hahaha!

I like indie films, or any movie. I like to watch movies in their original language.
I like to read also. It is not unusual to find me dozing off with a book on my head.

I love the beach! Sunsets and sunrises are my favorite time of day. A view with mountains and beaches makes me feel so peaceful.
