Hi I'm Evie! I love exploring, experiencing new things and meeting new people. I was fortunate enough to do lots of travel with my family when I was a kid. Then when I was 18 I moved from Australia to London for 14 months, during which I worked as an Au Pair. During this time I was able to do lots of travel around Europe, which included a mix of trips that were with my host family, friends, my family and also by myself.
After moving back home end of last year, I saved up and went off travelling again. So far this year, I've been in Canada and in Europe, mainly backpacking through the Balkans. From the beginning of next year I plan on backpacking Central America!

I'm open to new things and love learning new skills, and creating new friendships. I have made such amazing friends whilst abroad and I hope for that to continue.

A few extra things about me, I love the beach! I'm at the beach almost every day during Summer. I love Harry Styles, Acai Bowls, concerts, reading, going on adventures and taking photos. Eventually, I want to study nursing, specialising in Paediatrics.

I want to volunteer so I can really get to know a place, both the sites and the people. I also would like to learn new things and to take on new experiences. I'm particularly interested in volunteering at a hostel, a farm (especially if it has horses!), or at a school. But I'm open to explore whatever adventure may come!

I am fluent in English and interested in helping others improve their English. I have been learning a bit of Dutch, so would be keen to developing that, but also I would be interested in learning Spanish, particularly for Latin America travelling.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have a lot of experience with kids. I've done babysitting, nannying and been an Au Pair. So not only do I feel confident in looking after children, but also this in itself has taught me many skills. Cleaning definitely being one of them, but also things such as time management, organisation, planning activities and cooking.

I've been working in admin recently, so am a fast typer and am familiar with computers, as well as learning different computer systems.

I have a beautiful golden retriever at home, and I love taking care of him as well as other dogs and all sorts of animals.

I often help Dad out in his projects, whether that be gardening, building, painting, or whatever else comes up. So I'd say I'm quite a good helper.

I'm also quite a people person, so running social tasks in a hostel is something I feel confident in.
