Hii, I‘m Eva, 19 years old and live in a small town in Germany!

Since I‘ve finished school last year, I am quite unsure about my own future and what I really want to do with my life. There is just so much I still have to learn about myself and I really think, that one should never stop learning, no matter at what age. It is why I belive, that the exchange of our interests, cultures and ways of living could enrich one another :)

Because I live together with my parents, my grandma and our dog, cat and 9 crazy chicken, there is always something to do around here. Helping other people and participating in work that needs to be done is a matter of course for me. It brings out the good in people and is something that gives me a lot of joy!

Given to my current stay, cultural exchange and meeting new people is unfortunately something, I didn’t experience very often, yet.
Over the last years my family and I have been hiking nearly every summer, spending a lot of time in nature. It is kind of our thing now and has also been a great way of socialising.
Last year my bestfriend and I did Interrail for about a month. After reflecting, I noticed that I really loved the travelling part, but didn’t like the speed of it. I personally prefer to spend more time at one place and get to know it better in its details :)

I want to try something new and would be more than happy, to meet new people and explore new places, that challenge me and get me to leave my comfort zone!

Mais detalhes sobre meu interesse em idiomas
A few years ago, a woman from Italy did sort of a gap year and stayed with me and my family for a whole year. It was a really interesting time and we learned a lot from eachother! She showed us some Italian traditions while I tried to teach her the German language. I think the differences between our languages are really interesting and I would definitely be interested in learning something new!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I‘m quite a creative and helpful person so I just kind of do, whatever needs to be done, at least I try.

In general I don‘t have a problem with doing all sorts of things. When it comes to crafting, I already helped my dad with things like painting walls, demolishing a tiny house so it could get rebuild, changing tires from our cars or building a fence for our chicken. Designing is also something I am fond of and could do for hours.

Over the year I spend a lot of time helping my grandma. In the summer, I help her with gardening. In the winter, I help her with decorating the house for christmas, which I enjoy a lot. Moreover, we go grocery shopping and play a lot of games together.

Since I was young, I have been doing housework on my own, for example cooking, doing the dishes, cleaning and doing the laundry. I also can‘t remember a time, were I wasn‘t surrounded by animals, be it dogs, cats, chicken, my sisters horse or animals from a rescue farm, I worked at for a short period of time. I think that these experiences over the years create a good responsibility.

In school, I tutored a kid, that struggled a lot with grammar and in the meantime, my family welcomed an exchange student from Italy, whom I tried to teach the German language, successfully I belive.
