Hi!
My name is Emily and I am 27 years old from the north of the UK. I am an approachable, positive, laid-back and open-minded person interested in learning new skills, being in nature and tending to plants and animals.

Eventually becoming disillusioned with corporate city life after 8 years of living and working in Paris, I saved up some money and decided to quit my job to travel solo to Hawaii for 3 months to learn about animal care and homesteading. After some extremely enriching experiences volunteering on animal sanctuaries on the Big Island of Hawaii, I am now looking to continue travelling and gaining new skills at new workaways.

I am a lover of languages and am currently learning Spanish and Japanese. I also speak and write fluent French and I have a TEFL qualification (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) as well as teaching experience!

My other hobbies include reading, attending concerts/live events and painting watercolour and acrylic. I have a PADI scuba diving licence and enjoy scuba diving when I go abroad. :)
