Hey there, fellow wanderers! 🌟 I'm Dzaky, all the way from Indonesia. I just moved to Singaraja, Bali, after having lived in Jogjakarta for the last decade. So yeah, I'm the new kid on the block! 🌴

🎶 I'm a singer-songwriter, and you can listen to my tunes on Spotify under "Kyster". Yep, that's my stage name – catchy, right? 🎤

When I'm not strumming my guitar or belting out lyrics, I moonlight as an English tutor and translator. What can I say, I know my strengths! 💬 (see my site at https://gatewayenglish.my.id)

But here's the real scoop: I'm *stoked* about being part of Workaway. How can you not? You get to meet and work with fellow free-spirited people who have each other's back. I'm ready to swap stories, share laughs, and maybe even dance under the moonlight 🌙 (ok maybe not that last part because I'm not a night owl).

My most memorable volunteering experience was when I stayed in a Central Javanese village for two months. What did I do? Art classes with kiddos and some business workshops with the village crew 🎨💼

But, in short, I have a TEFL certification and 6+ years of experience teaching ESL (English as a Second Language).

I've also worked with various companies for their translation needs, so I know a thing or two about translating in a way that sounds natural.

My native language is Indonesian, so I can help you speak conversational Indonesian. I can't help much with the grammar side of things, but I know where to direct you :)

I lovee reading novels! I did not grow up around readers, and our educational system does not put emphasis on the importance of reading, so I haven't read many (if any) classics.
