Hi!

My name is Doris and I am a 22 year old student from east of the Netherlands. Right now, I am enjoying my gap year after achieving my bachelor’s degree in biology.

In my free time, I love to go to the gym (mainly powerlifting, for those interested), play the piano, read books and hang out with my friends.

I would describe myself as an easy-going, down to earth and motivated person who loves discovering new things and I hope my gap year will give me the opportunity to explore a bit more of the world and connect with new people 🌎

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have done research for half a year during my bachelor’s in biology (ecophysiology to be more specific) on how climate change affects ectotherms so I have developed a lot of scientific research skills and a passion for nature and sustainability.

Currently I work at a pharmacy and a museum (modern realism) so all day long I interact with all kinds of people which I love, and I am always happy to help and show them around!

Because I do a lot of strength training, I am quite strong so helping around the house, gardening or other physical activities are no biggie for me ;)

I also adore kids and have some experience in looking after them!

I love animals and did a lot of horsebackriding for eight years! So if you have horses and know quite a lot about them and can help with caring for them!
