Hi, I'm Mateo. A humble explorer who's getting inspiration from Nature, Music and Spirituality. I grew up in southern Poland, in a peaceful place surrounded by vast forest, majestic river and Carpathian Mountains. Wonderful times and place where nature speaks, people are listening and community grow strong working together for a common good... Later on, my life journey led me into engineering and I started serving society as a bridge engineer. I've been designing and building bridges for 10+ years with the last several years living in the UK. This stage however comes to an end, and I'm slowly transitioning into more sustainable and creative projects.

I've been taking some free time to travel and volunteer in some existing alternative communities. I built my own camper van and travelled across Balkan region visiting some great communities there but eventually got back to the UK starting preparation for my own project. I'm currently focusing on my mid-term project which is finishing my house at English/Scottish border. A place open for travellers or ppl wiling to come and do kirtan yoga or 5 rhythms dance. I'm building a big veranda overlooking beautiful park where ppl can sit and listen to 'the talking trees'. I'm also building a music studio in back garden and small sauna. I'm hoping to finish this project in 2025.




I used to organize canoe trips with wild camping and gathering around a fire to talk stories, make music or simply to be in silence...

Nature, simplicity and alternative way of living in a community, that's my journey. I currently work on my mid term project finishing my house at the border between England and Scotland. A place with big veranda and back garden overlooking beautiful park with a pond at the centre. Place open for travellers. In 2025 I still need to build my music studio / holliday house, sauna and

and putting up with city life in the west. Although I'm greateful for experience I got in the west, it becomes clear that I don't belong here, or maybe 'here' changes so fast in such a strange direction that I don't want to be part of that anymore? I can see the Matrix is taking over and people are getting more and more addicted from social media which are perfect tools to manipulate the society and make people spend more, consume more and polarize societies...

I am currently in the prepping mode to move on and find a place/land in the 'east' or in the 'latin' south, where I can join some alternative community or create my own. Use all skills I have to create better new world which would leave behind the concept of putting the price tags on everything. My head is full of ideas of natural buildings, renewable energy systems, natural pools, greenhouses etc. I am slowly shifting from civil engineering into sustainable buildings. I am fascinated by the concept of Earthships, compressed earth bricks, hempcrete, hempwool and natural interior architecture. I have also a lot of practical hands on experience. I volunteered a lot and I finished my house where I currently live and run small affordable bnb (Cumbria, UK). I have also an interesting experience of building my camper van with nice wooden personalized finish and fire place at the centre. I simply enjoy the creative process of using my hands with some tools.

In my vision I see that we need a space where it's easy to connect to one another. Where after long day of work we can gather around the fire , to pray, to share the stories, to sing and to dance. Being connected to the earth under your feet. Feeling the warmth of the fire on your chest. Having thousands of stars above your head, and hearing the voices of the surrounding forest. How come we all as a society traded all of it for living in the concrete jungles, full of shopping malls, greediness and lust for power and influence??

Maybe what we really need now is to unlearn of this unhealthy way of living programmed by the Matrix. Relying more on the wisdom of your body rather then destruction of your mind. Letting the dance heal you. Enjoying simplicity of daily chores without need of scrolling down SM wall. Chopping wood. Getting hands dirty in the garden. Building ECO. Walking bare foot on the morning grass. Swimming in the lake while it's raining...

I am very kinetic and sound sensitive and for me the most powerful forms of spiritual practice is dance and singing. I have my own vision of dance session partially based on 5 rhythms with some modifications based on patterns observed in the nature. I also love Kirtan singing in any shades from Hindu mantras through eastern European pagan songs to latin American Pacha Mama songs.

As a traveller,
I focus on finding interesting people who are on similar path to mine. People who decided to live away from cities in harmony with nature. People who need some help or simply need a company to be able to share their stories. All sorts of herbalists, shamans, artists, parma-farmers, etc... I want to share with them and get inspired as well.

- Civil engineer - can design and construct some structures
- DIY around the house - got experiance and natural talent for that
- Gardning experiance, petiance and understanding the plants on a spiritual level ;)
- Got some experiance with Eco-Village Projects and I'm interested in learnign more
- I have lots of ideas about facilitating an off-grid household
- l love animals and am happy to help looking after them
- Good with kids
