Dear host!
First of thank you for taking the time to read my profile! If you're in a hurry, here's a quick overview:

==== SHORT FORMAT ====
- I'm travelling with a load of surfboards together with my dog Kyamani
- I got a variety of different skills that I love to share (from computers over construction to meditation)
- Ideally I'm looking for a home or a space to stay and live long-term, but short-term is cool too.
- I wanna live with like-minded people sharing a common vision
- My own project and vision is to work together towards a gifting culture (moneyless)
- At the same time I love to just relax, surf, hike and do other sports
- Working for accommodation & food, for money or self-profit is not my main motivation. I'm here to help, not to prove myself, exploit or get exploited. In other words, I use this platform for mutual sharing, not for contracted exchanges. I truly believe that we all have a purpose in life and this purpose is drastically diminished by this separation through capitalizing of each other. That said, if I sent you a message you must be a pretty cool sounding project to me and I obviously am interested in sharing my skills and time with you.



===== LONG FORMAT =====
I believe in change. I believe we can change the world one person at a time, from the bottom up. So here I am on this journey, because I'm discontent with society as it is and I rather put my money on a good old bet instead of wasting my life making money to buy things I don't need to impress people I don't like in the illusion I can enjoy life in retirement. This bet is what I'm trying to do: Establishing and promoting a gift economy worldwide. For that I not only try to provide education, but also live it by example, offering my skills for free.

I used to be a full-time watersports instructor and center manager for about 10 years until I quit my job to look for purpose, which I found in the philosophy of permaculture. I still love watersports (wavesailing, surfing, stand-up paddling, kitesurfing, freediving), but don't need to lose my soul in adrenaline all the time anymore...

In 2018 I started the gift economy project "Freevolution" in order to inspire people to give and gift without expectation, to pass on with love and to get away from this endless consumption, that capitalism dictated upon our society. Therefore I invested my time to freely offer products and services in order to inspire and to take my power away from capitalism and instead use it for creating a better world; examples are: free surf lessons, free meditation & breathwork tuition, free yoga, free permaculture courses, etc. In addition to that I did my best to spread this message online as well as offline with talks, discussions, videos, etc. Grown with lots of experience from my experience these 2 years, I now search for a new home for myself and my dog Kyamani with people that share this or a similar philosophy.

With this in mind I want to use workaway in order to make connections, find like-minded people and get a feel for a place. I live quite healthy with a lot of sports, yoga, meditation, a plantbased diet and I cope quite well in society despite depression and social anxiety that's been following me since I'm 14. I am what I am, no need for a mask, just to let you know that at times (but surely not always) I can be a bit insecure, withdrawn or powerless.

What I'm also looking for at the moment is a place where I have enough time to work on my project - of course while helping you out on wherever you need help at the moment. I'm interested in being self-sufficient, so I like spending my time growing food. Also read what skills I can offer please :)

I am used to living quite simple. But I'd like to stay in a place that feels home and be with likeminded people that feel like family.

You might have guessed it from my description, but I don't offer myself here as a labourer or contract worker. I have skills and knowledge that can make me money enough if I need to. To me accommodation and food are not of monetary value, but a resource we should share and I'd rather sleep hungry in a cave for free than selling myself for a luxury villa. Saying this, I see and appreciate the world we live in and I'm happy to help you with your project or even contribute financially. As you might by now have understood what my philosophy is about, I don't believe that there's something like a fair trade/exchange. But when we can help each other in our processes, we become friends - and that's what I'm looking for!

+ Permaculture Design (PDC Certificate)
I've travelled in Australia for a year and learned Permaculture on different farms. I held Permaculture Intro Classes a few times. Even though I don't have experience in big machines I like big picture and large-scale approaches.

+ Some Natural Building experience
I've built a small earthbag dome and a cob house within a group under supervision

+ English teacher (in training)
I currently work towards mit TEFL Certificate (online). I speak english on a native level through 10 years of travel experience.

+ Windsurf, Sailing, Surfing, SUP, Kite Instructor
I've been teaching these sports professionally for over 10 years.

+ Yoga, Breathwork & Meditation Workshops
Through over a decade of practice & experience, I like to share my passion and knowledge. I did free workshops that I ran weekly for 2 years.

+ Phone & computer repair
Through an apprentice ship I can take care of hardware and software problems on smartphones, laptops & computers.

+ Graphic & Web Design,
I'm a full time web developer (websites, online shops, payment systems, AI integration, etc)
