Hello! My name is Daniela, I'm originally from Argentina and currently traveling through Italy, a journey that feels very personal and meaningful to me. I have Italian citizenship through my bisnonno and being here is a way to reconnect with my roots, immerse myself in the culture, and keep improving my Italian.

I grew up in the city, but I always felt the pull of nature. Whenever I could, I would escape to the coast or the countryside — those moments grounded me and brought me back to myself. That connection with the natural world is something I seek wherever I go.

I've been in Italy for two months now, and this will be my first experience as a Workawayer. I'm really excited to be part of this community, and to have the chance to exchange with local people, to learn about your lives, your stories, your work, and to contribute with everything I can offer.
I'm hoping to find warm human connections and to deepen my understanding of Italian culture in a more authentic and heartfelt way.

I'm an energetic, joyful, and curious person — and above all, I'm very attentive to details. I enjoy learning new skills, crafts, and ways of doing things. I believe in approaching each experience with presence and care.

Some of the things that bring me happiness are doing yoga, swimming, painting, writing, and spending time in nature. I'm also passionate about photography and video — I love capturing moments, energies, and atmospheres that move me.

I’m traveling with my cat, who is calm and gentle. She’s very affectionate once she feels safe and is used to living quietly in a room with me. She can get along with other cats too, she just needs a little time to adapt.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have a diverse background that has shaped me into a capable and adaptable person. When I was 18, I spent four months on a cultural exchange program in Belgium, an experience that profoundly impacted me and opened my eyes to new possibilities and ways of living. Now, at 29, having lived alone for eight years, I’m confident and efficient in managing household tasks.

Since I was 18, I’ve worked in a variety of roles that have helped me develop a broad skill set. I’m a professional makeup artist, painter, and creative artist, passionate about visual expression and hands-on projects. Additionally, I have over eight years of experience working in the corporate world in organizational roles, including team leadership and customer service. I always enjoyed connecting with people in these jobs but felt that the traditional corporate path didn’t fully resonate with me.

I’m a quick learner, adaptable, and genuinely enjoy getting involved in different kinds of tasks — especially those that require care, attention to detail, and a hands-on attitude. I have experience helping with general cleaning, organizing spaces, cooking simple meals, and taking care of animals (including my calm and affectionate cat). I also enjoy manual tasks like painting walls, gardening, or basic DIY. I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty and love learning new techniques.

Creatively, I write and paint regularly, and I have a good eye for photography and video. I’m happy to help document projects, create social media content, or organize photos and videos if needed.

I’m respectful and responsible in shared living spaces and always try to bring a positive, calm, and cooperative energy to any team or household. I speak Spanish (native), English (fluent), and I’m actively improving my Italian every day.

Above all, I’m open to learning anything new — whether it’s a traditional recipe, a farming technique, or how to fix something with tools I’ve never used before. I truly value the opportunity to learn by doing and to support others in meaningful ways.

I really enjoy doing ceramics and working on any kind of artistic or creative project. I love getting lost in the process of creating something with my hands. I’m also a big fan of board games and love spending time with others in relaxed, playful settings.

I absolutely love animals, especially cats (of course!) and I always feel a strong connection with them.

I'm someone who enjoys both quiet, reflective moments and engaging conversations. I’m curious, openminded, and I appreciate simple things like cooking together, listening to music, or just sharing a peaceful space.

I’m always open to trying new things and learning from the people around me, so even if something isn’t in my list of “skills” yet, I’m excited to dive in and give it a try!
