Hi, i'm Claire from Surrey, UK.
I'm keen to sample other ways of life and learn about differnt cultures. Especially laid back ones! I would like to start a permaculture project in a warm climate.
As an experienced gardener I can assist with seeding, planting, propagating, watering, composting, harvesting, foraging, mowing and gentle land management.
I've gained great experiences working as part of a team and independently using my initiative at different projects with my little helper; we love to discover new places and meet inspiring people.
My ten year old daughter enjoys travelling and workawaying with me. Neve is partly educated using tutoring platforms online. I have a degree in Sociology and am an experienced teaching assistant.
As a trained counsellor and Reki practitioner and having worked as a cook in care homes and in children's nurseries, I am used to caring for people and I enjoy cooking; especially curries and jams. As a housekeeper I have deep cleaning/ tidying, reorganising and restoration experience. I have also worked as an administration assistant for the civil service.
In Italy a few years ago I decorated in a medieval castle and also planted a fruit and vegetable garden in the ancient terraced plot. We created paved pathways there too. Although Neve is easily distracted from these types of tasks she never strays too far from me. An enriching experience is always had. .
As a creative, practical person I love ticking off to-do lists. Helping out in many ways, i'm most happy outside, learning and developing new skills, playing, gardening, taking care of animals etc...
We love snorkling and also paddle boarding and kayaking.
I have practised yoga and meditation for 20+ years. I like reading and writing, listening to eclectic music and enjoy good company.
