Hi lovely people!
My name is Carol (like a Christmas Carol) and I was born in Ningbo, China and split my life between Ningbo and Vancouver, Canada. I also lived in France for a few years for university and spent significant time in Southern California, Washington D.C. and Brussels. Raised in a family that deeply values travel and multiculturalism, I had the fortune of travelling to more than 45 countries and interacting with amazing people in all different circumstances.
Meeting interesting and open-minded people is what drives me and makes me fulfilled everyday - I geninuely love getting to know people and their dreams. Outside of talking, I also enjoy learning languages (am currently on my sixth language) and trying new food. I also enjoy sports - from weightlifting to surfing to kayaking and tennis, I love getting a good sweat on.

I am a true generalist at heart and am open and excited to learning any new skills!
I have extensive internship experience in marketing/outreach for various non-profits, political advocacy at the Canadian embassy, and a little bit of consulting work for a local government. I also love journalism and have produced both video and written interviews for academic journals and student newspapers.
Furthermore, I am super friendly and extroverted. I would thrive off any position that allows me to extensively interact with people and solve their problems.
I am also graduating with a degree in International Relations and Comparative Literature if you have any relevant academic interests/areas.
