Hi,
My name is Brisa, I am a university student studying Geography and Politics (with French). I've joined workaway to gain independence because I would love to travel more and get to know more about different cultures whilst learning new skills and expanding on my french in exchange to teach english. Studying geography shows my awareness of respecting different environments and nature, trying my best to adapt. Whereas politics motivates me to speak up and gives me the understanding of the importance of helping communities

Quais são suas habilidades?

I speak 3 languages, I've been studying French for 8 years which has given me the communication skills needed to adapt to different cultures and have an interest in learning more whenever I am given the opportunity to do so.

I am a certified Level 1 Kayaking instructor, this has given me the experience in teaching kids aged 7-15 how to kayak safely ranging from working independently to develop new skills and working in a team, for example I was helping them to learn Safety rescues in case of an emergency.

Lastly, I am a volunteer at a cafe where I have had the chance to meet and interact with many customers. I make coffees, serve food and clean whenever required, I know how to use the till and do my best to always provide a welcoming, hygienic, organised workplace.
