It is not so much about tourism or going from place to place which I am looking for in travelling,
it is more about experiencing variety of people and environment they make.
Simply saying I think that life is very strange, unpredictable and beautiful Thing and the same time beautiful :-)
Also for me volunteering is a "sport"
I am stars gazer, walker and kind of stoic.
You can expect from me common sense and usually I expect this from host :-)

I have some basics gardening skills, understanding principles of permaculture, I worked on few farms and I understand gardening is mainly about maintenance.
I know how kitchen works, also have some basics building skills, "tidy" painting, fixing stuff and woodworking basics.
I worked as a masseur and specialize in mind/body balance.
Now sometimes I work as a carer in England.

I worked for money in many places and also I have been woofing on few farms I feel good in a simple life and it is easy for me to adjust to new work-live environment as well as be self-reliant and initiative.
Being close to nature and working with my hands is something I enjoy.
I do not enjoy working with animals kept in cages.
I have valid European Health Insurance Card (EHIC).

I just wanted to say that I like volunteering in Ute and Markus farm. I am not going describe details you can find them in others feedbacks but one thing I would like to mention which I think other host could copy.
It is no drug, no alcohol policy. It is a such rare thing amongst hosts I think that this policy create much more caring environment.

I spent only 8 days here and I wish I could more. Paolo’s bed & breakfast is located in a beautiful place. I think it is a heaven for hikers, on one site you can enjoy shore with beaches and small historical towns and on the other site mountains covered with forest with great views:-)

Artur is justo the traveler who would fit anywhere. He's chilled, diplomatic and HeS got an interesting speech.
I also apreciated his willing to work, his participation in home-tasks and his honesty.
As i said, i cant imagine a place where he couldnt fit!

I spent 2 weeks with Damià and it was very good time. He is very relaxed and easygoing guy. I helped him with decoration of a new renovated house, job was job was fine, no stress. Damià lives in Graus which is a very nice little town from which you can go for beautiful hikes. I recommend it for everyone who wants to spend some time in a beautiful… read more

Graus is located in a very beautiful spot, lakes, river and mountains what else nature loving volunteers would need :-) Plenty opportunities for hiking. Because it was winter I helped mainly with small repairs in the house. I was happy I could cook vegan food, thank you. Very good acommodation.

Staying in Jan’s house was a very nice experience, I spent there three and half weeks. Jan is designer and artist and you can feel living there. Everything has its place, organized and tidy. I had my own studio with shower and toilet. I was cutting wood for winter, job was fine, no pressure.

I spent 3 weeks here, it was very pleasent time. Place itself is located in a very beautiful spot. Plenty opportunities for hiking. Very close is a small touristic town and a big lake. Center itself is very well equipped, spa facilities which you can use and very nice, clean accommodation.

Indeed romantic mill, nice place where at night you can see fireflies. Nikolaus is a good host and is interesting to talk with him. Also he picked me up from a train station and at the end he took me back. From this place is also good to travel to Porto and Lisbon.

I spent in hostel only 11 days but I need to say that Sara and Oscar are the best hosts I had ever met. Very easy going, nice and chill people. I always felt like volunteer not like worker.
Even when they were busy they never put any pressure on me or other volunteer, something rare!

We loved having Artur with us.
He fit in very well in our way of living.
He is a calm, careful and helping person. There was mutual respect for each other's space and there was no shortage of good mood moments.
Always available to give a hand.
Regada will always have its doors open for him.

I spent on farm one week and that was very good time. Rute and Rafael are wonderful people, warm and welcoming. Rute cooked delicious healthy food, Rafael is easygoing so work went well.
Farm itself is very nice, placed amongst forests, streams and mountains.

Although I applied to help with a renovation project I worked and stayed on farm and I enjoyed this. Work was easy, good accommodation. I spent there two weeks, farm itself is beautiful so is the forest we worked in.

Although communication with Arturo was a bit difficult in the beginning it turned out to be a nice experience for boths of us. Place is like a green oaza hidden between mountains and hills,
there are beautiful wooden-stone cottages between many plants and trees,
many animals also like the place.
I recommend it for every nature loving person.
