(15/05) *It's just Salomé now !!*

Hello everyone !

We are Salomé and Arthur, we plan to leave France, our native country, to do a road-trip in South-East Asia for 6 months. We have been preparing this trip for several months now, after having studied a lot, it is now time for us to create our own adventures !

The trip is planned in 6 stages with Vietnam as our first stop, and then visit Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia. It is an opportunity for us to discover foreign cultures and meet new people to discuss and share with during our trip. Our goal is to experience different ways of living. Working with people from different cultures and exchanging knowledge is one of the best ways to experience something new and determine the next step.

Through the workaways we are looking for several work stays of a few weeks each to experience the local culture and settle in a bit before moving to another country. In terms of missions we are particularly interested in ecological and solidarity work (construction, sustainable agriculture, organic farms, etc).

We hope to find places where we can use our skills and contribute, while gaining new experiences, new skills, new friends, or all of the above. :)


Arthur's presentation :

In France, I work as a professional animator with children and teenagers during vacation and throughout the year. My favorite kind of activities with kids are making them discover new sports games and going outside, especially in the forest , to help them to discover how beautiful nature is.
Recently, I also volunteered in an association for adults with disabilities which was a great experience for me since I feel like I found my way. But before committing to one job I wanna see what wonders this vast world has to offer and what I can offer to it as well.

My strongest passions are music,being outside for hiking or enjoying nature or maybe even hanging out with friends. I also spend a lot of my free time watching movies and drawing.


I’m a bit of a jack-of-all-trades and I would like to keep expanding my abilities by meeting new people and being involved in different types of work.
At first sight I might seem as a reserved person but with time and getting to know each other it will fade away quickly.

This is my first trip so far away from home and one of my main goals is to step out of my comfort zone !

I'm a french native and practice english quite fluently but i’d like to improve my english and learn more about vietnamese.



Salome's presentation :

I have just graduated from a master's degree in cultural project management, I am passionate about everything related to the arts (especially theater and contemporary art). I read a lot, go to the theater and exhibitions regularly and above all I love to discover good music during concerts.

I am an extrovert by nature and I love to meet new people and share with them. This is what I am looking for in this trip, above all to meet new people !

I dance a lot, I followed for 11 years Modern Jazz classes. In the summer I work as an animator with children of different ages (from 3 to 17). The stays that I do are organized as camps and I am therefore used to being in contact with nature. I also hike a lot, I love outdoor activities.

I speak fluent French, I also master English but I want to continue to improve with this trip and open myself to other languages.
