Hello!

We are Arnaud and Eloïze, two curious and dynamic 18-year-old French students in preparatory classes for the " grandes écoles" -Arnaud in mathematics and Eloïze in literature-, and we are looking for a destination for our trip to Ireland in July 2026.

We want to meet new people, discover new horizons, and improve our English in preparation for the competitive entrance exams, which will take place in 2027.

We both have extensive experience of community life: 12 years with the Scouts and Guides of France for Arnaud and countless summer camps with the YMCA for Eloïze have taught us the importance of meeting new people and discovering new cultures.

Quais são suas habilidades?

We are two young people who are curious and enthusiastic about the idea of taking part in this experience, while putting our various skills to good use.

Indeed, for my part, Arnaud, I have been a firefighter for two years now, so I have undergone fairly comprehensive training in first aid, firefighting and even woodcutting, as well as many other activities. I have also had my driving licence for a year. In addition, I spent more than three years restoring a historic site in the forest near my village, which means I am quite comfortable with outdoor work.

As for me, Eloïze, I am particularly fond of children; I grew up spending my summers attending summer camps from the age of 5 to 17, eventually becoming a camp counsellor. For several years now, I have been babysitting children aged 3 to 11. However, I also really enjoy manual activities such as renovation and relatively small-scale work (painting, sanding, gardening, etc.). In addition, I have a wide range of interests: sports (I have practised rhythmic gymnastics, climbing and downhill skiing); hiking; music; cinema; cooking, etc. I am open to discovering and sharing new things, especially in another language.
