Our hostel in the heart of Quito, Ecuador. We are a tight knit group of people who call their colleagues their family and every person is always ready to help and support each other to ensure we provide the best service possible to our guests and clients.
Our hostel has 40 beds and is an open and friendly hostel offering guests a home away from home in Quito. We pride ourselves on providing a comfortable and welcoming place to stay created by the communal breakfasts and dinner we offer, social activities, amazing rooftop with incredible city views, great beds and friendly, helpful staff. Our guests return again and again due to the homely vibe of the hostel. We are located a two minute walk away from the Historical Centre of Quito which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Travellers that come will become part of the family. They will be part of a primarily Ecuadorian staff and meet travellers from all over the world, so the cultural exchange opportunities are excellent. There are plenty of opportunities to practice Spanish and attend Spanish school outside of help hours.

We are also looking for people to help take care of our guests and to help support our staff with reception duties and daily activities with our guests!
Duties
-Help run and promote activities such as salsa night, language exchange, karaoke, drinking games, special events, etc
-Create community
-Assist reception staff
-help our cleaning staff in their duties
If you have any special interests or skillsets we are also open to discussing other ways you can help out :)
You will work six 4-hour shifts per week (24 hours)

Acomodação
The volunteer position includes accommodation for the full time you are with us, regarding food we include two meals a day (breakfast and dinner). We have an in house chef and food is cooked fresh every day and is delicious and good portions. We can cater to all dietary requirements.
The accommodation provided is at the hostel and it is a room shared with one other volunteer. if there is no other volunteer then the room is all yours :)
We are a super fun team and we have such a great time all together. We really take the word community at the heart of all we do so we enjoy a lot of our time together at the hostel.

Quito is situated in a beautiful valley in the Andes Mountains offering incredible views and the historical district, just a few blocks from the hostel, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site so the exploring opportunities are endless! Due to Quito's position it is also very easy to travel on time off to explore the many beautiful places that Ecuador has to offer. Ecuador is a small country but has so much to see including the coast, Amazon and mountains and as it is small it is easy to travel around. If you like hiking Ecuador is paradise as there are many mountains and volcanoes to climb. Due to working in the hostel, it is easy to meet people to travel with and you will make friends from all over the world.

Weare open to hosting digital nomads as we have fast internet and there is no work to be done in the afternoon. :)
