Hello! I recently graduated from university and am hoping to immerse myself in new experiences and skills . I am a dual British and Austrian citizen and am hoping through Workaway i can encounter lovely, outgoing, and interesting people. I did my first Workaway this summer in Slovenia and had a fantastic time!

I will be travelling with my lovely partner Paula in Germany in January 2024. They are a duel German and British citizen who speaks fluent German, English, and good Spanish and French too. Paula just graduated from studying Environmental Management and Sustainability. They are very kind, easygoing, have a keen interest in crocheting and are a fantastic singer! They have lots of experience allotments/community gardens, having been the head of the universities Green Action.

I'd love to grow my knowledge about different ways of sustainable living, building things, growing food and happy to get stuck into new things. I am half Indian/mixed European so feel a bit like a global citizen and have previously lived abroad in South Korea. I love meeting people from different countries and walks of life.

I have 3 years experience working with children; my holiday job is at a children's day camp and I also volunteer at a LGBT youth group for teenagers. I have also been a personal assistant to lovely young adult with special needs and am a carer to my elderly/disable grandmother so have some training and experience in these areas.

I love anything crafty and make my own jewellery (earrings mainly), clay creations, herb/oil infusions and try DIY projects from time to time. Hiking, wild swimming, and anything outdoorsy interests me. I am very open minded and practice meditation. I love playing music and have played double bass/trumpet in orchestras and jazz bands since I was a child so jam sessions are very much on the cards.

I am currently trying to learn German, although I am very much a beginner. My partner is German so I am very committed to learning the language and would love to be around more German speakers. I studying in Seoul, South Korea for 1 year and have beginners ability in Korean, though my Korean is a bit rusty now.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have a lot of experience working with children and have an enhanced DBS check I am happy to provide. I have experience working with children for over 3 years, have worked at a children's holiday camp, and volunteer as a youth worker.
I have lots of energy and would love to get experience working outside and doing planting/farming/building projects.
I also have a musical background with grade 8 with distinction in double bass, can play trumpet, and a little bit of guitar.
