Descrição

We are Anne-Lise & Antoine, a French couple currently travelling and working in Australia on Working Holiday Visas. We are available immediately and looking now for a welcoming host family in NSW, VIC or QLD for at least until end of September or even more.

We are deeply motivated to bring a positive and reliable attitude, while being useful in everyday life. We are hardworking, learn quickly, adapt easily to new environments, and are always willing to help wherever it is needed, whether it’s gardening🧑🏻‍🌾, animal care (we love being around animals)🐕 , maintenance🧑🏻‍🔧, cleaning🧹, cooking🧑🏻‍🍳 or supporting with family routines.

We are friendly, respectful, open-minded and easy-going people who genuinely have travelled for several years, both individually and now together.

Anne-Lise :
I am very social and empathetic, and naturally connects with people and animals. I am very organised, attentive to details, and always want to create a smooth environment around me. I used to work in hospitality/tourism/events and I already lived with host families for two years while working as an au pair in Chicago and London, so I am very comfortable with family life and helping around the house. Also I am vegetarian, but very happy to adapt when cooking or sharing meals.

Antoine :
I am more discreet, grounded and intellectual, with a very curious mindset and traveller at heart. I enjoy analysing situations, finding solutions, and understanding the world through different perspectives. I used to work in recruitment/advisor/consulting and also outdoor work and landscaping. I travelled through several countries in Asia, which helped me become even more open-minded and adaptable.

We complement each other very well : one more emotionally driven and people-focused, the other more analytical and solution-oriented, while both sharing a strong curiosity about the world. We are at a stage in life where we want to discover what we truly enjoy, both individually and as a couple. Although we love sharing experiences together and with others, we also value personal space and individuality.

For us, WorkAway is about cultural exchange, personal growth - it is also learning new skills, discovering different ways of life and creating meaningful memories.
