I will be arriving in Madrid on March 26th and would love to do some sort of outdoor general maintenance, farming/gardening, or any other sort of task that involves getting my hands dirty and working alongside nature!

Greetings friends! I’m Adam from Wisconsin, USA. I studied biology and environmental science at university where I also played basketball. I love to be outdoors and exploring, I am a deep thinker and live for meaningful interactions, I am always moving and am in terrific physical shape but also work to balance that with rest and a slower pace of life. I take pride in hard work and dirty jobs (I spent 2 summers cleaning portable outhouses if that says anything…), and I am a highly passionate learner of different cultures. The rat race never resonated with me one bit so here I am!

My most recent travels included a 2 month trip through Europe where I made my way through Spain, Italy, Austria, France, and Portugal while also completing the Camino de Santiago. Prior to that trip, I was in the heart of Costa Rica WWOOFing on an organic farm. What both these experiences made me realize above all else is that life is meaningless without human connection. Along with learning new things, I want to form new bonds with people such as yourself!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I like to think that I am skilled in the kitchen. I am very knowledgeable in nutrition and cook each meal of the day with fresh whole foods. I spent two summers caring for a 10 year old boy and had a great time. I have experience working with customers and people, having worked at one of the busiest cafes in my city. I love interacting with others, but also value my alone time. I am fluent in English and am decent with speaking Spanish. I studied environmental science and biology in university, making me knowledgeable in those areas. I run a large nutrition instagram account and am skilled in using social media. I am also resourceful, always finding a way to make things work, and am a quick learner. I have no issue working independently or with others. I am also a certified personal trainer.

I am someone who loves being active. I played basketball, baseball, American football, and numerous other sports throughout my life. I played basketball in university and was the team captain. I look to do some form of exercise everyday, whether it involves walking, weightlifting, yoga, or some other sport. I am very passionate about nutrition and wellness. I am in the best physical, spiritual, and emotional condition of my life. I am an open-minded person, always looking to learn new things and expand my boundaries. This past year, I have begun to explore my spirituality at a deep level and am always seeking to go deeper. I am also looking for new ways to express my creativity. I enjoy the simple things in life, like watching a sunrise with a friend and a cup of coffee.
