I'm a Swiss (soon to-be) teacher going abroad for half a year in order to improve my English and discover the US and its versatile culture for the first time. I'm inquisitive, always eager to learn new things or help out others. I generally love spending time in nature, i.e. going on hikes or just enjoying the sun and the birds (or discover neighborhoods). Here in Europe, I use my bike all the time to get from one place to another, and I love it! I guess, the possibility and safety to do it is something I'm going to miss most when in the US;)
I studied English and French (literature and linguistics) in Germany and France,therefore I love talking about language in general and picking up new words and expressions. Also, I appreciate it if people correct my mistakes. I'm eager to share my culture and to teach languages I speak myself (German, Swiss German, French). When it comes to my character, I'd say I tend to be more on the introverted side of the scale, but can also be rather outgoing and talkative:) Moreover, I have a weakness for music and for salsa, bachata and kizomba dancing. Whenever I find an opportunity to dance, I'd probably go there and check it out:)

Quais são suas habilidades?

I really love cleaning in general and I'd say I'm good at cleaning or washing whatever that may be. My technical skills are not the best, but if you give me a clear order or tell me what to do, I'll do it conscientiously. I love gardening, watering plants, or generally doing things outside -- in any weather. I grew up with dogs and had a dog myself for 15 years. I loved the long walks in the country side, the training I did with him, as well as the washing, trimming and combing. I'm physically fit and ready and eager for new challenges. I also have some experiences with horses and riding since I took riding lessons as a child and I had a horse I looked after some years ago.
Moreover, I like conversing with people, if kids or elderly, and I'm a really good listener. I've already helped many children with their homework or with presentations. Since I've worked as a (private) teacher in Switzerland I've got some experience in it. I'm always eager to learn new things and broaden my horizon.

  I need to cut down on histamine from time to time. I won't die if I eat histamine, I just lower the levels in my body whenever I can. If I eat meat and dairy products I make sure they come from ecological farming.
