Hello world!

My name is Yvonne I'm (soon) 37 years old and I left Germany a couple of weeks ago - I quit my job, sold my apartment and a lot of other belongings in order to travel and find a new life. A life that makes me happy and that's worth living.

For so many years I've been doing things that I didn't like (such as my job), just because I didn't know what I really wanted and because society tells us that this is the normal way of life.
But honestly, for me life is much more than meeting the expectations of society and doing a job that I don't like. Of course, we have to earn money in order to pay rent and buy food...

For me it took long time to do this step and to allow myself to discover what really makes me happy. Of course, that's much more than only working. By travelling we can learn so much about ourselves, about other cultures and discover what we would like to welcome into our life. Although there are a lot of fears and worries, I'm so grateful and happy that I now have the opportunity to do all those things and to allow myself to find what I'm looking for.

My journey started in the beautiful country Costa Rica, continued in Panama and in July I went to Columbia for a yoga teacher training - a passion that I've been doing for more than 10 years now and that I want to deepen and expand.

I love nature, walking, hiking or just listening to the sound of the jungle and watching beautiful animals.

Bing creative is another part of me that I want to explore on a deeper level. I love to create things on my own, but I haven't yet found the "perfect" tool for me. I would like to get inspiration from other people and learn new skills, for example making jewellery.

I'm very conscious about my body and highly interested in everything that's connected with inner healing - such as meditation, breathwork, plant medicine, somatic work, connecting with nature, nourishing my body with healthy food, using organic cosmetics... In an ideal world, I would expand my knowledge in one or more of these things and offer it to other people!

Years ago I studied Multilingual Management Assistant with the languages English, Spanish and French. Although my Spanish skills are not perfect I'm constantly trying to speak in Spanish in order to improve my skills.

Even though I'm not a super-extroverted person I love making contact to new people and learn more about other cultures. I know that there are so many other people like me who are on this path, with the same spirit and who are searching for their purpose of life! So, let's meet and maybe go this path together!

Also, It would be a pleasure for me to meet people who have already found their purpose of life and to get inspiration from them - for example by supporting them in their daily life, to learn more about their culture and to discover new skills.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I'm open to a lot of different tasks:

I could work on a farm, doing gardening and anything in connection with nature.

Also, I'm very interested in being creative - things like decorating, painting and producing things like jewellery or natural cosmetics (although I'm not an expert 😉).

I love doing yoga, stretching and bodyweight exercises which I could teach to interested people.

Cooking is another passion - especially vegan and vegetarian food. I love to try out new things and to cook clean, healthy and delicious meals that are not too complicated.

All together, I'm passionate about everything that's connected with the body, inner healing and a conscious way of life. I would be more than happy to support hosts in any of such practices and to develop new skills.

Moreover, I could teach German and English.

Finally: I'm also open to new things to learn - for example taking care of animals like turtles.

  Even though I'm not a strict vegetarian, I don't eat much meat - especially no pork. I try to eat healthy, avoiding sugar and processed food.
