Hola!
My name is Wendy, 26 years and from the Netherlands. I'm just moved back after living in Barcelona, Spain for 1,5 years where I was working as a full-time nanny after graduating for my Masters in Nutrition and Health Science. Even tho I loved my life here, adventure is calling and I would like to change the big city to nature and travel to Costa Rica to experience the Pura Vida lifestyle. I love nature and the beach, and I would love to explore and learn more about one of the following things: surfing, scubadiving, permaculture, animal care, eco-projects, yoga and spiritual healing.

I'm an enthusiastic, open-minded, calm and responsible person who loves to learn new skills and have a cultural exchange. In my free time I love dancing (salsa, bachata, kizomba), meeting new people, sailing, learning new things, travelling and also just chilling with a good cup of tea or wine. I try to eat mostly healthy and eat chicken and fish, but I'm also okay with a vegetarian diet.
I have a lot of experience working with kids, as a nanny for all ages (6-months up to 12 years) and as a sailing instructor. Lastly, I love dogs!

I am very interested in improving my Spanish skills. I do speak/understand quite some Spanish already. In exchange I speak fluently English, so i can teach some English (or Dutch!).

Quais são suas habilidades?

In general I am a very caring person that can take care of others who need it.
I like teaching, i am a sailing instructor for both kids and adults for 8 years now. Also i worked as a tutor and teaching assistent at high school and university. I also have experience with babysitting (age 5-10) for quite some years.
I can help prepare foods and make nice, nutritious and vegetarian meals.
Also i don't mind helping around the house, cleaning, doing laundry and organizing things.

I am a very open minded person, and willing to think along to make my stay as pleasant for both sides.
My perfect stay would include helping with anything that is needed, have a language exchange and also some time to explore the city or take a rest from all the impressions.
I might also want to do some interviews for my internships later, it would be very helpful if the host could give me some tips/connections about this.
If you think we are a match, or if you have questions, please contact me. I could stay around 3 or 4 weeks end of July/August.
