Hi, my name is Wannes, and I recently completed my engineering degree in Belgium. Before I dive into my professional career, I’m eager to explore the world and connect with its people. I like to travel and always enjoy being able to communicate with the locals in their own language. Because I am from the Flemish-speaking part of Belgium, I have been learning French since I was 10 years old. This enabled me to travel to many countries and speak the local language but now I am interested in learning Spanish because then the door to others countries is opened as well.

I have been a dedicated Boy Scout leader for five years, giving me valuable experience in working with and entertaining children. Through this role, I developed strong teamwork skills and learned how to collaborate effectively to achieve ambitious goals. My responsibilities included organizing trips, planning events, and overseeing financial management.

Additionally, I worked as a bartender in a restaurant for over two years during my student years. This experience taught me the importance of hard work and helped me refine my social skills through constant interaction with customers.
