Descrição
Hello! Ciao!
I’m Valentina, a creative soul with a curious mind and a passion for exploring new cultures and experiences. I hail from the beautiful north of Italy, where the pasta is always al dente, the mountains are postcard-perfect, and sarcasm flows as freely as the espresso.
If you asked my friends and family to describe me, they’d probably say I’m adventurous, funny, open-minded, fearless, and the kind of person you could chat with for hours without realizing where the time went. (They’re biased, of course, but I like to think they’re not wrong!)
I’ve been lucky enough to live abroad in the USA and Norway during my studies and in Germany for work. I’ve also traveled a ton—sometimes with family and other times solo—which has taught me how to navigate new places, meet amazing people, and find the best local bakeries.
Right now, I’m taking a little time off to figure out my next adventure. I’ve always wanted to immerse myself in a new culture by staying with locals—what better way to truly experience a country, its people, and its quirks? Workaway feels like the perfect match: a chance to help out, make connections, and come away with priceless memories.
By day, I’ve been working in the exciting world of marketing and beauty (think crafting campaigns and brainstorming over way too much coffee). But now, I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and try my hand at something completely different.
I’ll be honest: I’m not exactly a pro when it comes to manual tasks (IKEA furniture and I have a love-hate relationship), but what I lack in skill, I make up for with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. Cooking, gardening, or tackling creative tasks? Count me in!
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me lost in a mystery novel, testing out a new recipe (with varying success), or swapping stories over a delicious meal.
I’m fluent in English and Italian and can get by with basic Spanish. I’d also love to share a slice of my culture with you—whether that’s teaching you some Italian phrases or cooking up a meal that tastes like home. Plus, I’m always up for a laugh, a good conversation, or simply being part of a great team.
Let’s make this adventure unforgettable—I can’t wait to meet you and be part of your project! :)Idiomas

Quais são suas habilidades?
What can I bring to the table?
Since I was a kid, I helped my mom around the house - and still do! Over the past few months, I’ve spent a lot of time helping out at my mom’s place, which has given me practical experience in a variety of tasks I’m excited to share:
Cleaning & Household Organization: I’m great at keeping spaces tidy and organized, whether it’s doing the general cleaning or helping with more detailed tasks to make sure everything’s in order.
Outdoor Maintenance: I’ve worked on tasks like mowing the lawn, trimming trees, and basic garden upkeep. I’m not a gardening expert yet, but I’m happy to help and eager to learn more for sure!
Car Washing & Detailing: Washing and caring for a car is something I’ve gotten pretty good at, and I’m always up for keeping vehicles looking their best.
Childcare Experience: I have experience babysitting a 2-year-old boy named Luca for a year while at university. This involved caring for him, engaging in fun activities, and ensuring his safety and happiness.
Cooking & Meal Prep: As an Italian, I love cooking (not a pro, yet!) , and I’d be happy to share some delicious meals or teach you a few authentic recipes.
Language Skills: I’m fluent in English and Italian, with a basic understanding of Spanish. I’d be more than happy to help with language practice or teach you some Italian phrases!
Organizational & Creative Skills: With a background in marketing, I enjoy helping organize tasks, brainstorming ideas, and keeping things running smoothly.
Team Player: I’m positive, adaptable, and always ready to lend a hand, making sure the team enjoys working together while getting things done!
I’m always up for learning new things and am not afraid of getting my hands dirty—whether it’s hands-on tasks or helping with something creative, I’m really excited to contribute!Idade

What to add?
I grew up around animals, so I'm pretty comfortable with them. I have a 15-year-old dog, Rebecca, who's still full of energy, and a 6-year-old turtle. The only animals I’m not a fan of are snakes!
I also love staying active—whether it’s exercising, watching tennis, or practicing yoga every now and then!Mais algumas informações
