Hi!
I’m from Japan. I’ve been in Canada since September 2023 to learn English and to experience living in Canada. I was in an English school for 6 months in Kelowna and Vancouver. After graduating, I started working at a cafe.
The reason why I registered for work away is that I’d like to try new things to get the opportunity to broaden my horizons through experiencing living with other people who have different nationalities. I stayed with a Canadian family in Kelowna for 3 months. At that time, I found that it was fun and exciting to live with other people. Especially, I could know the different way to think, culture and language. Also, I took a volunteering class in Canada. I’m interested in local communities that helps people’s lives and shape social communities. This experience made me join in Work Away.
I have to go back to Japan this July, I hope that I can see you within left 2 months:)

I am fluent in Japanese, Korean, and English. As a sociable person, I love engaging in conversations and sharing my experiences about life and Japanese culture. I enjoy various activities such as walking, exploring towns, playing basketball, hiking, and dancing. Having received help from many people during my stay in Canada and other countries, I am eager to find a way to give back and help someone in need.
