Hello !!
My name is Thibault (29 years old) and I am a musician (guitarist) in Grenoble, France. This year I decided to start travelling again, as a few years ago I travelled for five months in South-East Asia, with Workaway also. This time, Iceland or Ireland are my new destinations (very different from each other I know^^) ! To travel in these countries would be a way to discover a part of the globe I have never been to before and deeply wish to discover for its cultures, landscapes, people,... So many things actually ! This year is the opportunity to exchange with others, to learn from locals who have a lot to teach and show regarding their countries and lifestyles : WorkAway would enable me to offer some of my help in exchange of having the chance to discover many aspects about local customs, which is what I am looking for when I travel !
I actually live in Grenoble (France), after I lived 4 years in the USA at the age of nine where I learned to speak and write english fluently. I love wandering in nature, just being in proximity with all the different forms of life that surround us, such as hiking, or just deciding to leave for a while and take time to read or take photos !
I am deeply passionate about music, since I started to learn to play the guitar when I was 6 years old, and have a hard time going through a day without listening to a piece of music ! I love going to concerts and festivals and am very careful to how music is played and all the different instruments and tiny aspects that make up and build a song. Travelling to Iceland or Ireland would enable me to discover local music in general ,but other types of arts such as painting, theatre and cinema which I also love (although I'm not as good in these last ones...).
Otherwise, I love being around kids ! I have had a couple of experiences in long-term babysitting in my youth and like to take the time to teach them things, such as music or english ! I have absolutely no problem in being around them : on the contrary, if you have kids that need help in anything or just want to escape for a while, I would be glad to help or go on an adventure with them !
Finally, I'd say I am friendy and very accessible. Just know that you can talk to me about anything !
Oh yes, and one last thing... I am a vegetarian, which is something hosts usually want to know before the volunteer comes over :)

Quais são suas habilidades?
I already did one week of WWOOFing in France in a farm so I have some experience in gardening, taking care of the animals or the farm in general ! I can cook, welcome guests in a house, work outside and do gardening chores.
I also have good trade/communication skills since I just got a 2-years trade degree a couple of months ago. I can therefore help with small businesses or houses that could use some help in that area (plus, my english is fluently written and spoken after 4 years spent in the USA when I was nine and a scolarship in an international middle and high school).
Moreover, I can teach english and music to the kids or to anyone that would like to improve their skills actually ! Otherwise, I am very curious, kind, like to make conversation, and can work on anything as long as I am physically capable (and always to the best I can to be capable) !

I am eager and extremely motivated to learn new lifestyles ! And even if I have a hard time with going through somethings (which is possible since I'm still young and don't necessarily know how to do everything), I am not afraid of hard work and want to learn how to get better at them !
