Hey, my name is Ben.

With 6 Workaway experiences now and meeting and living together with people from Australia, New Zealand, Japan, USA, Mexico, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland amd Poland. Workaway has given me the opportunity to meet interesting people from all over the world with their individual stories and cultural backgrounds, which was and is enriching for me.

I learned so many new tasks on the way, like driving a digger, doing jointing and woodwork. Most of the time I had the feeling I stayed with friends and supported them in their projects which I really appreciated.

I was always interested in different cultures and people in general, which made me go to University and study Geography and Educational Science.

When I am not supporting people via workaway I am co-founding a free school together with friends from grade 1 till 10 near Berlin in Germany right now.

I appreciate being around inspiring people who have a balanced and creative attidude towards life.

Over the years I had the chance to gain knowledge in a variety of tasks, from co-creating and building an alternative community to artcraft with wood like woodcarving, woodturning and whittling, home schooling, housesitting, working on construction, driving a digger, jointing, cleaning bricks, doing farmework, painting, biulding a chicken house, taking care of animals to organising social events.

I am glad to meet and get to know a nice host, that has a balanced and creative attitude towards nature and life. Who dances to the song of life in his/her own unique way and who I share deep belley laughs together with.

I always like to learn new and interesting things and I am happy to learn new things from you. Maybe there is also something I can teach you. I am also interested to get to know the place and the country, where I am staying, maybe old wisdom still beeing lived.
