Hi!
We are Tess (26 years) and Lukas (27 years). We are from Ghent (Belgium).

We are traveling to discover alternative ways of living, more sustainable, more inclusive, more connected. Feeling a deep connection with nature, ourselves and others is what brings us joy. Challenging ourselves on a physical level and by trying new things is how we keep it interesting. Finding happiness in simplicity is what it's all about.

I'm a product developer with multiple years of experience in my field.
I have a degree in Production Technologies and a Post Grad. on Sustainable Development.
I'm Practical, handy and a quick learner.
I'm good with kids through my years in youth movement.

I'm a midwife with multiple years of experience in my field.
My midwife career taught me organisational and social skills on top of the knowledge and practical skills required to guide women through their pregnancy. Doing home delivery's taught me to take charge and bare responsibility. Going through stressful situations I needed to be a source of calm and assurance.
Before that I was in high level gymnastics for 11 years were I learned discipline and hard work.

Amazing experience with Lukas and Tess, from the start they showed very interested of what we where doing, doing tasks happy and compromised, and that’s a great feeling when you are showing people and teaching and real interest is shown. We spend 2 weeks at Joan his place and it was all good! The area is really beautiful, the place is in a national park where we had several beautiful hikes!
You have a tiny house (which is really cute) for yourself. You have to cook for yourself but there is food present in the tiny house.

It was our first workaway and it was all great!! We immediately felt at home at Salamon because Liza and Alex are wonderfull people. We spend 17 days with them. We've learnt to make the preparation for permaculture gardening and a lot of other stuff. We had a great time with Samuel too!! We loved the energy of this little men 😁.
