I aim to live a fulfilling life, enjoy simple pleasures, and have a genuine care for a good cause.

My passion for humanitarianism and environmentalism takes me to places like Nepal, where I can positively impact people and the planet while also getting my fix of adventure. I believe in community and compassion to create lasting change and am committed to initiatives that uplift others while protecting the environment. With a sense of responsibility for the world around me, I'm eager to contribute my energy and skills to causes that align with my values. Workaway allows me to be part of the solution while nourishing my soul with new people and fresh experiences.

I've volunteered both in my home country and overseas, engaging in activities such as building water tanks, planting trees, running ski trips for disabled individuals, teaching refugees how to drive, and much more.

My favourite pastime is going on adventures. Surf, snow, mountains, or forest—count me in! If I’m moving my body, I’m happy. Some of my current favourites include mountain biking, hiking, tennis, and skateboarding.

I worked as the National Projects Manager for the Cancer Society of New Zealand for the past 5 years. During this time, I witnessed firsthand the crucial impact of volunteers, having started as one myself. Prior to this, I spent 5 years as a Trip Manager, guiding groups of over 50 people across Europe. I would then switch hemispheres to lead tours around my adored home country, New Zealand. Leading large groups taught me many practical skills, but arguably more valuable, travel teaches you how to foster positive relationships with people from all backgrounds, build common purpose, and welcome diverse points of view.

I’ll give anything a go and love learning. I can't wait to immerse myself in your culture and learn from each other.

From my work as a Tour Guide, Project Manager, and volunteer I honed skilled such as;

I'm very comfortable with technology and have experience in optimising websites and running social media, as well as confidence in the Microsoft suite.

I'm athletic, a hard worker, and can follow instructions, meaning, despite my lack of expertise in the trades I can learn quickly and become helpful fast.
