1. How would you describe yourself?
I am a very adventurous person, passionate about traveling and always eager to connect with new cultures and people from around the world. My friends describe me as a sporty girl who loves nature and animals; I have three dogs and I am a scout leader with Agesci, an experience that has taught me to appreciate the beauty of the mountains and to dedicate myself to serving children and those in need.

2. Why do you want to travel to Australia?
Australia has always fascinated me, and it’s a dream come true because of its stunning nature and sociable people. I have had other experiences living abroad: I lived for six months in Missouri, USA, during my senior year of high school, and spent six months in Spain for my Erasmus during my final university year. I believe this opportunity to travel to Australia is perfect for combining my desire to explore a wonderful continent with my passion and love for animals.

3. Causes and hobbies
I strongly believe in altruism and love for others and animals. In addition to my scout service with children, I spent a summer on a mission in Kenya, where I helped distribute flour in the surrounding villages. My hobbies include doing sports, hiking in the mountains, and volunteering, and I am always looking for new adventures and experiences that enrich my life.

4. Experiences on Workaway
Although I am new to Workaway, I have already had significant experiences as a scout leader and during my mission in Kenya, where I had the opportunity to work closely with the local community. These experiences have taught me a lot about cooperation, commitment, and the importance of making a difference. I am excited to meet new people and share experiences in Australia!

Education and Skills
I hold a degree in Management Engineering, with both a bachelor's and a master's degree. I have worked for a year as a quality and process engineer, where I developed practical skills in problem-solving and project management. In addition, my experience as a scout leader has taught me to adapt to various situations, finding solutions to challenges—from building elevated structures for a tent to cooking over a fire and embarking on long treks with a backpack.

I enjoy hands-on work, and my recent projects include crafting a wooden sled, building a concrete wood oven, creating a small garden, and constructing dog houses for my three dogs. One of the most important lessons my parents instilled in me is the value of being a well-rounded individual who can do a bit of everything in life. Whether it’s sewing to repair clothes, fixing a bicycle, cooking traditional Italian dishes, or building small furniture and home decorations, I believe these skills are essential.

I am also adaptable and eager to learn new things. I have a great love for animals, particularly cows and horses, and I have always wanted to learn more about them.

Languages
I am a native Italian speaker and also speak English and Spanish, both of which I learned in school and through my study travels. I would be happy to teach my native language to anyone interested!
