Hi guys! We are Norbert(35) and Soledad(29) living in Blackforest, south Germany. It's a small place surrounded by beautiful and breathtaking landscapes. Perfect for cycling and hiking. We like to ride the bike through the forest and be close to nature.

A sustainability and environmentally responsible way of life is very important to us. For this reason we try to take care of our environment as much as possible in our daily lives.

More than 4 years ago, we met in Portugal and since then we have been exploring the world and living our passion to travel together.

We love adventures and we are two curious, optimistic and open-minded people, who like to try and learn new things.

In 2022 we had our first experiences with Workaway, for us it sounds perfect to combine traveling with supporting local projects and helping others.

Traveling gives us the possibility to meet new places, new people, see new ways of life, new cultures and share time with local people or share stories with other travelers. For us, it’s one of the best ways to expand our personal horizons.

Norbert:
I am 35 years old and was born in Romania. Since 1994 I live in Germany in the beautiful Black Forest. In our small kitchen I love to cook fresh and to try new dishes.
I love to ride my bike in nature. For me, it is the best vehicle and a lot of fun.
My biggest passion is traveling! There are so many interesting countries, people and cultures to discover in this big world.
So far I have traveled a lot in Europe (Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Romania) and in Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Indonesia, Philippines). I'm looking forward for more nice experience.
My favorite sports are mountain biking and snowboarding, but also table tennis, hiking and diving.

Soledad:
I'm an adventurous and very optimistic 29-years-old girl, who comes from Uruguay. I left Uruguay almost 5 years ago to travel for the first time some months around the world and after that I have been staying in Europe. I wanted to experience living in another country for the first time alone.
Through the trip, I discovered how much I love traveling and meeting new people and new cultures. I really enjoy listening to other people’s stories because we are all so different and with different views of points and life-style and I think that makes us grow as people and see how much possibilities there are in this big world.
I love to be in movement and try new things and experience. I like doing sports like running, cycling, fitness, dancing and yoga. Also I like to try as much as possible to do things by myself and Handcraft, my favorite is macramé. Another of my hobbies is taking Photos, mostly from nature or landscapes.
Being in contact with nature is one of my favorite things. I love simply taking a walk through the forest or trying to be with animals when it’s possible.

Quais são suas habilidades?

We have experience in planting herbs, vegetables and flowers on our terrace. We enjoy working in the garden and have no problem getting dirty.

We try as much as we can to repair and create small household furniture by ourselves.

We also have experience in taking care of animals, as Soledad has a dog in Uruguay.

Norbert is the best at cooking and Soledad is the best at baking. But we like to help each other in these tasks.

Norbert knows a lot about bicycles.

Soledad have some basic knowlege about Fitness, healthy lifestyle and handcraft.

We are motivated to do our work well and to learn new things.
