Descrição

Hi, we're Sisi and Lachie, an Australian couple travelling Spain for one year on a working holiday visa. We are both super keen to get outside and into nature, and to meet new people and learn about alternative living. We are hoping to work on our Spanish wherever we go.

Back home Sisi volunteers at a community radio station and plays in a femme punk band. Lachie is a silversmith who loves being creative and hands-on, also keeping active.

We are looking for places that offer projects that we can collaborate, work and learn from, building towards a sustainable and unique future. We are flexible, hardworking, and social people and are really excited to see what awaits us!

We have done multiple Spanish courses and are around an A2 level. We are travelling with the intention of improving our Spanish to a conversational level, so would love any help getting there! We would be more than happy to exchange language, Sisi has also tutored English before.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Sisi has a degree in Journalism and Lachie has a Marketing degree. We are very seasoned bartenders, but most importantly are happy to be outdoors and have skills in those areas.
Sisi was raised by permiculture experts as parents (they lived in a self sustaining community for 7 years) so I have a deep curiousity, love, and understanding for sustainable living. I love spending time with my dog and chickens, as well as growing plants and native fruits back home.
Lachie is handy and proficient with tools and heavy lifting. Raised in the tropics of Northern Australia, I was immersed in nature and have been researching alternative living and permaculture since I was a child. I love to make things with the resources around me, and would love to explore building opportunities in art and functionality. I am also a passionate cook and love to cook for people.
We are creative people and would love to use our artistic visions to create something special with you.
