Hi I'm Sid! I'm a solo backpacker on an adventure from France to China and then around Asia travelling mostly by bus, train and my feet!

I will be first travelling and doing workaways through Turkey, Central Asia, China and then probably South East Asia!
I am very flexible and living day by day.

I already did two workaways during my first solo backpacking trip in Spain in 2022 and I loved it.
I have experience in taking care of animals (dog shelter in 2022), children, in construction work, in waitressing, in language learning and teaching, physical work like taking care of a garden or a house and I can easily learn new skills!

I use Workaway as a way to connect with new people and to learn new skills or practice whatever can help my host! I like to have this time during a trip to take the time to really enjoy the country or city I am in while doing a useful activity.

I am fluent in English, French, Spanish. I have some basis in German and Arabic.
I am currently actively learning Mandarin.

To summarize I am open to many different opportunities and already have experience in various ones (bartending, waitressing, grape harvesting, renovation work, childcare, animal care and more).

I would love to get more fluent in Mandarin. I am really into learning languages so actually I'd be happy to learn any new language. I can teach French and English.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I can be physically active (I like sports and walking)

I can take care of a house and a garden (gardening/harvesting/planting).

I learnt construction techniques and am still learning (can work with concrete, painting, and others).

I can work in the service industry like hostels, bars.
Indeed, I worked as a bartender in Southern UK for two months and I loved learning about cocktails, meeting clients everyday, organizing events (poetry, music) at the bar.
I also worked as a waitress for two months in a very good restaurant in Strasbourg, France.

I can babysit at any age, I can have activities with groups of people as I am sociable and love interactions in many languages.

I can (and love) take care of animals (cleaning their shelter, feeding them and even take care of their medication if needed).

I can play a bit of guitar, a bit of piano as well, the flute and the saxophone. I just love music.

In general, I am able (and willing!) to learn new skills (physical and/or intellectual) !
