We are close and active Japanese sisters. We have travelled to different cities in Japan, Korea and Australia. Through our travels, we have met people with different values and learnt about different cultures, which has been a valuable and wonderful experience for us. We wanted to participate in the workaway because we wanted to live in a place or region in Australia where we could not travel and learn more about the culture and life there.

● I am Saya from Japan. I worked as a public health nurse in Japan for two years and am currently working as an au pair in Australia. I am diplomatic and curious and I like learning about new cultures and talking to new people. My hobby is cooking. I cooked Japanese food for my friends when I stayed with host families in the Philippines and Australia for two months. If you are interested in Japanese food, I am happy to cook for you.

● I am Kie from Japan. I worked as a civil design engineer in Japan for four and a half years and was shocked when I visited Perth in April this year to visit my sister. The perfect climate, the kind people, the beautiful nature... I fell in love with Australia beyond words. And like my sister I decided to leave Japan for a working holiday in Australia, which I will start in September. I love living things and my parents had a lovely dog. I am very interested in animal care. I am also interested in farming as I studied agriculture at university.
