Hi I'm Saskia from Scotland :) hard-working, very friendly and full of energy. I love working with animals and being outdoors. I've spent most of my time between being a dinner lady at a boarding school and working in the hospitality industry Doing changeovers in hotels and working behind the bar which I have loved. But I have now decided to work part time at home so I can do more workaways, meet new people and have a great time doing it.

Wow donoussa is really an amazing island, living there for 3 weeks was a dream and I feel lucky I found this workaway. Kali is such a sweet loving dog I really enjoyed our walks waching the sunset and also sitting together at night waching the stars. Patricia was so welcoming and friendly to both of us workawayers, she was always smiling and singing making the atmosphere in the house very enjoyable. She cooked us delicious meals and made sure we wernt working too hard. Saskia is the bees knees! I felt I had always known her and she just fit right in. She was kind and thoughtful, spending lots of time with our dog who had just had surgery and needed lots of care and love which she gave. Really really nice experience :) Annie works so hard for her rescue animals, everything she does is to make there lives better and you can tell by how happy they all are which is so enjoyable to watch and made me happy every day. Also working in such beautiful surroundings was a bonus, they own alot of land at the edge of the national park where… read more

Saskia came here as a last minute volunteer after 2 volunteers cancelled on us the day before they were supposed to arrive. The minute I met Saskia I knew we were blessed to have her as a volunteer for the week we planned to be in the uk, taking adopted dogs and cats to their new homes. Saskia is a true delight to host and makes the perfect houseguest, always good conversation and she is fresh with energy and full of enthusiasm for anything.
I felt very confident leaving her to all the tasks that were set, she was always up on time, reliable and looked after all my animals without me having to lift a finger! 5 star experience!
