I actually started visiting this website to help my daughter plan her gap year, but then realized that I was no longer just looking for exciting travel destinations for her... and that's when I thought... why not?
As a mother of two, soon I'll be an empty nester and can devote myself to what I love most: travelling and diving into different cultures.
As a professional translator, I am able to take my work with me anywhere, which makes me the perfect digital nomad. If translations come in, I might be in front of my laptop half a day, my working hours are very flexible. The rest of the day I'll be glad to help my host with their daily tasks. I love children, animals and nature, so any related work would be welcome. Furthermore, I could teach German and Spanish, or English for beginners.
I am originally from Germany, but have lived in a rural area in southern Spain for over 20 years. I am naturally more of a listener than a talker and prefer one-on-one conversations rather than busy group activities. I enjoy meditation, healthy food, kundalini yoga, watercolor painting, cooking/baking and trying any kind of new foods, gardening, reading and going for long country walks. Furthermore, I am very interested in social work. I am a curious person and love discovering new places, people and cultures. I easily adapt to new circumstances and consider myself a responsible, flexible and easy-going person.

I am a Sworn translator Spanish-German and my second foreign language is English. I have given language lessons to children and adults. Therefore I could teach those languages or just help you to brush up your language skills. I am interested in practising and improving my English.

As a translator, I love languages and writing. I could help you improve your German or Spanish, translate or edit your website or book, teach English lessons for beginners, or just chat with you in those languages.
As a mother of 2 grown-up children, I would love to take care of your kids or teach children in a small group. I am passionate about cooking and baking, I could take care of your household and your garden. I love animals very much, which is why I would also be a good animal keeper.
And last but not least, I am a social worker for the Spanish Foundation Vicente Ferrer, India, and always interested in getting to know new social projects.
I am a helper and caregiver by nature and a good listener.
