Algo mais...
I just finished working a paid (non-workaway) seasonal job in Montana @ Glacier National Park. Clearing trails, working outdoors in very cold conditions : ) It was such a beautiful area. I spent my free time hiking, skiing and exploring the surrounding cities.
Previous to that, I resided in Jalisco, Mexico for the past 8 years managing a bed and breakfast in a rural fishing village and working as a ranch hand in various locations. I helped manage and maintain orchards (mostly citrus, banana groves, mango and some bamboo), repairing irrigation lines, harvesting and processing fruits and vegetables. After learning Spanish during my time there, I'm eager to learn more languages through immersion. My hope is to start learning Japanese in 2025. I'm looking forward to my upcoming trip to Japan in Spring!
My first workaway project was with a non-profit World Food Bank where I helped garden, process food boxes for distribution, learned the basics of welding and got a chance to use my Spanish assisting migrant farm workers in the area. This incredible opportunity is what lead me to take on more travel and workaway projects. I hope to find similar learning experiences in the future. If there's a particular project you have in mind, let me know. I may have additional experience in that area!Mais algumas informações

After I finished the daily household chores, they took the time to incorporate me into their circle of artist friends and made me feel so incredibly welcome. I can't thank them… read more
we have hosted a lot of people, and marilyn falls into that category of person where if it turned out that they were an angel or space alien or demigod or something, then i wouldn't really have that hard of a time believing it.
it was fantastic to have you here with us, and we hope you make… read more
