Ruben's family is from Urugay and Teresa's family is from Italy, yet we were both born in Australia. We have been together now for over 2 years. Falling in love was quite easy as we both desired to escape the busy life of Sydney and start a sustainable life on a farm where he can care for the land and animals while I look to teach yoga and grow flowers and herbs. We aligned again when we wished to travel as much as the world together as possible.

Teresa recently completed her 500 hours in yoga (Sep 2023) and flew to meet Ruben in Japan. We enjoyed a month of travel, eating lots of food and enjoying the simple beauty of being in another country.

The next adventure.. Latin America.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Ruben- I am a professional photographer with two years of experience, capturing moments that tell stories and evoke emotion. Before transitioning into photography, I worked as a social worker, primarily with children in foster care, which has given me strong skills in working with kids and understanding their needs. I have a deep love for animals and pets, having house-sat and cared for them on several occasions. Additionally, I can speak Spanish fluently, as my parents are from Uruguay. My partner and I plan to buy a farm/homestead in Australia upon our return, as we're drawn to the idea of living a simpler, more self-sufficient life away from the city. I bring a willingness to learn, a thirst for knowledge, and a commitment to completing tasks to a high standard, making me adaptable and eager to contribute to any new environment.

Teresa- I am a 500-hour qualified yoga teacher with an additional 200 hours specializing in children's yoga. My experience spans three years of teaching various styles, including Yin Yoga, Vinyasa, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, and Chair Yoga. I am also a qualified Pilates instructor. With over seven years of personal practice, yoga is a profound passion of mine. My teaching style is always gentle yet encouraging, guiding students to explore their bodies' potential with care. I focus on creating a supportive environment where individuals feel comfortable pushing their boundaries and discovering new abilities. I enjoy gardening and cooking, finding joy and relaxation in nurturing plants and creating delicious meals. Additionally, I teach yoga to children ages 1 to 5, blending playful, engaging activities with mindfulness and movement to foster their physical and emotional development.
